This is the true story of two of Chicago's most powerful and dangerous organized crime bosses. Paul Ricca and Tony Accardo were at Al "Scareface" Capone's side when he formed the Chicago Mob. Ricca and Accardo used people and governments to make billions using illegal operations, while preying on the unfortunate and weak. This book shows how both men and their closest associates lived their lives in luxury while using fear and intimidation to get what they wanted. The Chicago Mob would not have become one of the most powerful organizations in the world if not for Paul Ricca and Tony Accardo.

After reading about 100 pages I began to skim through it. I found grammatical errors and several pages of documents are too small to read and frankly I wasn't interested in anyway. The book is not a biography of either man but includes several other shady characters as well. I did find it interesting to know there are the graves of some individuals buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery that I missed to get photos of. If I knew what I know now I wouldn't buy the book.Product details

Mob Boss Chicago Mob Bosses Paul Ricca and Tony Accardo Tony Dark 9780985116910 Books Reviews
It was a real informative book written in the format of police files and reports. I like how this author writes, especially his previous book titled "A mob of his own Sam Destefano".
The author didn't do his homework. Not well written and terrible research. One chapter was about my grandfather. Facts are wrong. Terrible book. Shame on you Tony "Dark".
Mr. Dark provides what appears to be no original research, and adds little or nothing to the wealth of knowledge already available. There is still more out there on both Accardo and Ricca, but Dark made no effort to look.
good history of two outfit bosses.
Lots of typos and some errors.
Page 147--Bulger Park commemorates Joseph I. Bulger, Jr. who was killed in WWII and awarded the silver star
Page 139--Buick plant refers to Charles Imburgio, not Joseph
Book is copy and paste.
